This environment is complemented by our comprehensive benefit offerings that include health insurance and a 403(b) retirement program.Job description:QUALIFICATIONS:Required minimum Bachelors degree from an accredited college or universityValid SC Special Education teaching certificationJOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary Responsibilities:Provide weekly instructional services either in person at a mutually agreed-upon location or virtually, based on the students needs and family preference.Deliver instruction that is equivalent to a minimum of 55 minutes per school day, with the specific schedule agreed upon by the classroom teacher and the students family.Plan, prepare, and implement lessons aligned to grade-level standards and the students current curriculum.Collaborate regularly with the classroom teacher to ensure continuity of instruction, pacing, and expectations.Adapt instruction as needed to meet the students medical, academic, and developmental needs.Monitor student progress and provide updates to the classroom teacher and school as required.Maintain appropriate documentation of instructional time, lesson plans, and student participation.Comply with all district policies related to confidentiality, instructional quality, and student safety.Collaboration & Communication:Communicate consistently with the classroom teacher, family, and designated school staff regarding scheduling, progress, and instructional needs.Participate in meetings related to the students instructional plan when requested.Schedule:Until the end of the 2025 - 2026 academic school year
