Field Operations Lead -- Roofing & Home Exteriors

Evergreen Exteriors is a growing roofing and exterior contractor on the South Shore, and we're hiring a reliable, hands-on Field Operations Lead to keep our job sites running clean, stocked, and on schedule.

This is the right role for a skilled tradesperson who's tired of doing the same task all day. You'll move between our active sites, fix what needs fixing, keep crews supplied, and be the owner's eyes and hands in the field. Variety every day, real responsibility, and a direct line to the owner.

What you'll do

• Travel between active job sites across the South Shore each day
• Handle small repairs, punch-list items, touch-ups, and daily roofing/carpentry tasks as needed
• Check job status, confirm crews have the materials they need, and keep work moving
• Take progress photos and update job status for the office each day
• Pick up and drop off materials; pick up and deliver permits and help coordinate them
• Keep sites clean — haul trash and debris, stage materials, handle final cleanups
• Knock out the day-to-day tasks that keep projects on track

What you bring

• Solid roofing and general construction/carpentry experience — you can work independently
• Ability to spot and make small repairs without hand-holding
• Your own basic hand tools
• Valid driver's license and a reasonable driving record
• Dependable, organized, and a good communicator — you'll text photos and updates daily
• Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, texts, and simple status updates
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice to have

• Your own reliable truck or van
• OSHA 10
• Experience coordinating permits or working around local inspections
• Comfortable on ladders and roofs

Pay & schedule

• $22–28/hour, based on experience
• Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays during peak season
• Paid time off and paid holidays
• Fuel covered for material runs and site travel
• Steady, year-round work
• Performance bonuses
