Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum frameworks such as Montessori or other pedagogies.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction among children.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to promote respectful and cooperative conduct.
• Support children’s developmental milestones by applying knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support each child’s individual needs.
• Incorporate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other subject areas to promote well-rounded learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, assessments, and standardized testing results to ensure compliance and support ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies.
• Knowledge of special education needs and experience supporting children requiring early intervention services is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
• Prior experience in private schools or daycare environments is preferred
• Familiarity with childhood education standards such as literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and standardized testing procedures.
