Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods for residential and commercial clients. This role requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Duties
- Safely load and unload items from trucks or vans, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to maintain safety.
- Assist in organizing and packing items securely for transport to ensure safe delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and vehicles used for transporting goods.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during moves.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards client interactions.
- Experience using equipment such as moving dollies is advantageous.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- A valid driver’s license is required; a clean driving record is preferred.
