Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and flexible household assistant to help with a variety of tasks around the home. This position requires someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling many different types of responsibilities depending on what is needed that day.
The duties for this role will vary. Some days may involve cleaning or organizing, while other days may involve errands, helping with food preparation, assisting with household projects, or handling simple administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys staying busy and is comfortable adapting to different tasks as they come up.
This role requires flexibility. The work will not always be the same each day, and the right person should be comfortable being asked to help with a wide range of household and personal tasks.
Responsibilities may include:
- Cleaning and general household upkeep
- Organizing closets, storage areas, and household items
- Assisting with small dog care (must love dogs and be comfortable around them)
- Watching the dogs occasionally if needed
- Grocery shopping or running errands
- Helping with simple food preparation (chopping ingredients, defrosting food, assisting with cooking)
- Listing items online for sale (Facebook Marketplace, etc.)
- Scanning or organizing documents
- Light administrative tasks
- Helping with miscellaneous household projects as needed
Requirements
- Must be reliable and trustworthy
- Must be comfortable around dogs and enjoy working with them
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
- Comfortable helping with a wide variety of responsibilities
- Good communication and a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Flexible schedule and weekend availability
