About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Human Resources Manager who can own both strategy and execution in a growing construction company. You'll lead people operations end to end—recruiting, onboarding, performance, compliance, and culture—while partnering with leadership to build a high-performing team across roofing, insulation, HVAC, and related trades.
This is a role for someone who's comfortable on the ground with field teams and office staff, and who knows how HR works in a construction/job-site environment, and admin division not just in theory.

You'll be the key partner in making that happen.
What You'll Do
- Lead the full HR function
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding for both field and office roles.
- Drive talent acquisition for skilled trades & office roles
Build pipelines for project managers, installers, crew leads, coordinators, and support staff across multiple regions.
- Design and implement HR policies & processes
Create and improve HR policies, handbooks, and procedures aligned with our values, construction operations, and safety standards.
- Partner with leadership
Work directly with owners and managers to understand staffing needs, workforce planning, and organizational structure.
- Support managers and employees
Coach supervisors on feedback, performance conversations, and conflict resolution. Support employees with clear, fair HR processes.
- Monitor performance, engagement, and retention
Set up systems for regular feedback, performance reviews, and retention initiatives that work in a construction environment (crews, shifts, job sites).
- Ensure compliance
Maintain compliance with employment and labor laws, HR best practices, and relevant safety and HR documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Leverage tools and data
Use time-tracking and productivity tools (including Hubstaff) and HR metrics to drive better decisions and process improvements.
What You Bring
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar senior HR role.
- Direct experience in the construction, roofing, insulation, HVAC, manufacturing, or similar trade/field-based industry (required or very strong plus, depending on candidate).
- Proven track record building HR processes that work for both field (job-site) and office teams.
Skills & Knowledge
- Exceptional English communication skills (written and spoken) at a native or near-native level.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, recruitment, employment law, and employee relations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with international and multicultural teams is an advantage.
- Comfortable using Hubstaff for time tracking and project management.
