Doggy Daycare Attendant

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare Attendant. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to dogs in our daycare facility. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who loves working with animals and wants to make a positive impact on their well-being.

Duties:

• Supervise and monitor dogs in the daycare facility to ensure their safety and well-being
• Engage in playtime activities with dogs, including interactive games and exercise
• Provide basic training and obedience reinforcement to promote good behavior
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the daycare area, including regular cleaning of play areas, and equipment
• Administer medications or treatments as directed by pet owners or veterinarians
• Monitor dogs for any signs of illness or injury and report any concerns to the appropriate staff member
• Ensure all dogs have access to fresh water and are fed according to their specific dietary needs

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting (e.g., dog daycare, veterinary clinic, animal shelter)
• Knowledge of dog behavior, and safe handling practices
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and patience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of an active work environment, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and bending or kneeling as needed
