Medication Passer / Direct Care Worker Part-Time

Starting Pay:
- 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM): $16.00/hour
- 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM): $16.50/hour
- 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM): $17.00/hour
Earn an additional $1.00 per hour after successfully completing 30 days of orientation and medication training.
Available Positions
- Part-Time: 24 hours per week
- Full-Time: Available
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately administer medications to residents.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and mealtime assistance.
- Provide companionship while treating residents with dignity, kindness, and respect.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
- Follow resident care plans, medication records, and community policies.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Work collaboratively with the caregiving team to provide exceptional resident care.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous medication passing or medication administration experience is preferred but not required.
- No license required.
- Paid on-the-job training provided for community-specific medication procedures.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Reliable, compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident safety.
- Must be available to work every other weekend and participate in a holiday rotation.
