Green Acres of Greenville, a welcoming assisted living community, is seeking an experienced, dependable Full-Time Kitchen Manager to oversee meal preparation and kitchen operations for approximately 40 residents.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing delicious, nutritious, home-style meals and enjoys creating a positive dining experience for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and oversee the preparation of nutritious, flavorful meals and snacks.
- Manage daily kitchen operations and ensure meals are served on schedule.
- Purchase food and kitchen supplies while maintaining an appropriate budget.
- Monitor food costs, inventory, and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Accommodate residents' dietary needs and follow prescribed dietary guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen management or food service management experience required.
- Experience with food purchasing, inventory management, and budgeting required.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and meal planning.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- A genuine desire to serve seniors and provide quality meals with care and compassion.
