Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sawmills and firewood processors, including chainsaws, splitters, and conveyors.
• Sort, cut, and split logs into market-ready firewood according to size specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE at all times.
• Assist with inventory and material movement as needed.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience operating firewood processors, sawmills, or similar machinery preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in an industrial or forestry environment.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
