Greemann's Furniture & Mattress Gallery is seeking a kind and motivated Delivery Specialist to assist with in-home furniture deliveries and assembly. This role involves working within a two-person team to deliver furniture to residential homes using company vans, with all lifting done collaboratively to ensure safety. The position offers a consistent schedule from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with limited weekend hours as needed. Additional responsibilities include receiving inventory and providing support within our on-site warehouses.
Responsibilities
- Deliver furniture to residential homes using company vans
- Assemble furniture on-site
- Receive and inventory incoming furniture shipments
- Perform team lifting to safely handle heavy items
- Interact courteously with customers during deliveries
- Provide support in warehouse operations as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in delivery and logistics
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of safe lifting techniques
- Strong customer service skills
