What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Assistant position at Greeley Country Club?
We’re looking for a positive, reliable, and fun individuals to help out with our Summer Kids Camp at Greeley Country Club. This role is all about creating a great experience for members kids (ages 6–10) while helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.
What you’ll do:
- Jump in and help lead daily activities like games, crafts, pool time, and group events
- Work alongside other camp counselors and lead to keep the day organized and fun
- Assist our private coaches with golf, racquet sports, and special guest speakers
- Help pass out lunch and snacks
- Encourage kids to be kind, inclusive, and good teammates
- Set up and clean up activities throughout the day
- Keep an eye on campers during playtime, activities, and transitions to make sure everyone is safe and engaged
- Be available for all five weeks of camp (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
What we’re looking for:
- Someone who enjoys being around kids and has experience (babysitting, coaching, camps, etc. is a plus)
- Positive attitude, good energy, and easy to communicate with
- Basic understanding of safety and first aid is helpful
- A team player who’s dependable and ready to jump in where needed
- Someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids...whether through sports, activities, or just keeping them engaged
Schedule:
- Weekdays, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Summer position (3 weeks in June and 2 weeks in July)
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
