Starting hourly pay is $21.70

The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing a variety of routine and general maintenance tasks to ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of facilities and cleaning equipment. This role supports day-to-day facility upkeep including basic repairs, painting, and general handyman duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance, including minor repairs to building systems, structures, and equipment
• Complete painting, patching, and basic carpentry tasks as needed
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Perform general handyman tasks such as fixing doors, locks, fixtures, and furniture
• Assist with simple plumbing and electrical repairs (e.g., replacing fixtures, unclogging drains)
• Support preventative maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime, specifically on scrubbers and vacuums
• Aid in ordering supplies.
• Assist with yard cleanup, snow removal around exits and entrances.
• Assist in basic office equipment clean and maintenance, furnace filter changing and aid in office and equipment moves.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Assist in janitorial as back up.

What We Need From You:

• 1–3 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities, or handyman work preferred
• Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods
• Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments

Work Environment:

• Primarily on-site within manufacturing, office, or facility settings
• May require occasional after-hours or weekend work
