What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Consultant - Luxury Apartments position at Greco Properties?
Leasing & Resident Experience Consultant
Luxury Apartments | Shoreview, MN | $52,000-$56,000/year Performance Bonus
Greco is looking for a Leasing & Resident Experience Consultant to join the leasing team at our Shoreview campus, three Class A apartment communities totaling more than 600 units.
This role is a mix of leasing, sales, resident experience, and problem-solving. You'll work with prospects from first inquiry through move-in, help give residents reasons to stay, and keep the details behind the scenes moving. If you like a fast pace, high standards, variety, and being part of a team that gets things done, you'll probably like it here.
Compensation & Benefits
$52,000-$56,000 annual salary plus performance bonus potential.
- 100% employer-paid medical and dental coverage for employees
- 401(k) with company match and Paid Time Off
- Cell phone reimbursement
- Complimentary access to a state-of-the-art fitness center
What You'll Do
You'll manage prospects from initial inquiry through tour, application, lease execution, and move-in. That means responding quickly, following up consistently, understanding what matters to each prospect, communicating value, working through objections, and confidently asking for the lease.
You'll stay sharp on availability, pricing, floorplans, concessions, amenities, policies, and the competitive market. You'll also support renewals and resident retention, respond to residents with urgency and professionalism, and help make sure the overall experience stays polished from beginning to end.
Behind the scenes, you'll screen applications, prepare leasing documentation, maintain accurate prospect and leasing information, stay on top of reporting and deadlines, and work within Fair Housing requirements.
You'll also help keep our Airbnb humming by supporting the guest experience, keeping listings current, and coordinating Sparkle and turnover needs. And we don't just wait for leads to come in. You'll help reconnect with prospects, build traffic, create outreach opportunities, and go get the business.
What We're Looking For
You're equal parts salesperson, people person, problem-solver, and organized get-it-done type. You care about creating a great experience, but you also know great experiences depend on follow-up, accuracy, systems, deadlines, and details.
You see what needs to get done and jump in. "Not my job" isn't really a thing here. When you don't know something, your instinct is to use your resources, ask good questions, and figure it out.
Required
- Proven success in sales, apartment leasing, luxury residential, high-end retail, resident or guest experience, or another high-touch customer-facing role
- Strong sales instincts, communication skills, organization, accuracy, and follow-through
- Comfort with Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Reliability, punctuality, curiosity, coachability, and a team-first mindset
- Weekend availability based on the leasing schedule
Nice to Have
Multifamily leasing or property management experience, Yardi or EliseAI experience, Fair Housing knowledge, and experience with Canva are all helpful, but not required.
Don't check every preferred box? That's okay. We'd rather find someone with strong sales ability, judgment, curiosity, technology confidence, and follow-through than someone who happens to already know every system we use.
How We Work
We work hard, celebrate wins, help each other, and hold ourselves to a high standard. We don't believe in micromanaging, but we do believe in accountability, communication, and doing what you say you're going to do.
Not every answer comes with a perfectly written playbook. We're constantly evolving, testing, improving, and looking for a better way to do things. If change energizes you more than it frustrates you, you'll probably fit right in.
