We at Greco Orthodontics are growing and looking for a friendly, gentle and hard-working orthodontic assistant to join our growing orthodontic practice in Philadelphia and Ardmore! We are a father-daughter orthodontic office with a wonderful small and mighty team of dedicated employees that enjoy working with patients. ***For full time hours, applicant must be willing to travel to both Ardmore and Center City Philadelphia; pay based on experience, benefits package available***
The person in this position must be motivated and able to perform the following
responsibilities:
- Greeting and reception of patients
- Chairside assisting including banding, bonding, adjustments, etc
- Sterilization
- Orthodontic records including x-rays, photos and 3D scans
- Fabricating Essix retainers
- Answering phones and scheduling patients
- Light office cleaning
- Office marketing
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and techniques.
- Proficiency in documentation and record keeping.
- Familiarity with orthodontic terms and procedures.
- Ability to take accurate dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
