2nd shift Production Associates

Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Crop is seeking 2nd shift Production Associates for our Glendale Heights location. As a Production Associate you would be responsible for completing assigned tasks and duties in the assigned department. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN MOTIVATED WORKERS!!Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is a leading manufacturer of Greek and Mediterranean foods for foodservice, national chain, retail grocery, specialty, and warehouse club businesses. We have manufacturing facilities in Elk Grove Village and Glendale Heights. We manufacture and distribute specialty meats, flatbreads, dips, spreads, and sauces.    What you are going to be doing… Advocate and work safely and follow all safety rules Maintain good housekeeping and follow all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) Work at various positions on an assembly line or other areas within the plant Report any issue found with equipment, materials, and/or finished products Responsible for packing, loading, and stacking products into or onto trays, cartons, boxes, containers, and/or bags, as per customer specifications Shrink wrap pallets and products for shipping; move product and/or raw materials and ingredients to appropriate areas, as needed Responsible for the quality, sanitation, and line performance of each line Perform all duties required to produce a good quality product included, but not limited to, quality checks, equipment set-up, maintain operational parameters, and equipment performance Report all safety concerns Perform all duties necessary to meet third party audit requirements as well as other standards prioritized by the company, to include SQF, HACCP, FSMA, USDA, FDA, etc. Utilize tools and equipment required for each task, including hand trucks or other lifts Report on and track productivity using computers, iPads, or other technology All other duties, as assigned  What you need to have… Previous experience in a food manufacturing plant or equivalent preferred What you will get paid... $17.50/hr - $18/hr Physical Demands/Work Environment…Manufacturing plant environment with varied temperatures including hot, cold, and freezer. The work environment includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on high places, and/or exposure to chemicals in work setting. Incumbents are frequently required stand, walk, hear, bend, stoop, climbing, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, pull lifting to 50lbs, and push unassisted.
