Key Responsibilities
· Building & Collaborating Cross-Functional Leadership to align manufacturing schedules with sales forecasts, customer orders, inventory targets, Finance cashflows, Operational production planning.
· Direct purchasing planning for raw materials, components, and resale products to ensure reliable supply at optimal cost.
· Develop and execute purchasing strategies that optimize cashflow, reduce excess inventory, and improve supplier payment terms.
· Manage supplier communications regarding product issues, delays, or quality concerns, ensuring quick resolution.
· Change Leader in fostering team development, mentoring and driving cultural changes, continuous process improvements, accountability and strategic thinking.
· Build and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships, negotiating favorable terms and monitoring performance.
· Oversee inbound logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, and outbound shipments.
· Developing analytical tools & reporting on supply chain KPIs including on-time delivery, supplier performance, production adherence, cash flow and inventory turn.
· Drive process improvements through ERP/MRP utilization, lean practices, and data-driven decision making.
· Identify and mitigate risks such as shortages, shipping delays, or compliance issues.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints to validate requirements for materials and components
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
· 10 years of progressive supply chain experience in manufacturing and/or distribution.
· Supervisory/management experience leading cross-functional supply chain teams.
· Strong background in production planning, purchasing, and inventory control.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints for accurate material and production planning.
· Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain data analysis.
· Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Hands-on leadership style, able to thrive in a small-business environment where flexibility and problem-solving are critical.
Preferred Skills
· Knowledge of electrical components, metals, or industrial distribution.
· Experience balancing make-to-stock manufacturing with resale/distribution models.
· Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
· Understanding of import/export compliance and freight logistics.
Salary : $95,000 - $130,000
