What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician position at Greatwood Veterinary Hospital?
Seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, reliable employee for a kennel technician position at a veterinary hospital/boarding facility in Richmond, TX. Duties include animal husbandry for dogs and cats (feeding, walking, bathing, and cleaning), as well as maintaining boarding area. Experience preferred, but not required. Must be available weekends and holidays (No exceptions).
We are open Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm.
We are also open on Saturdays from 7am to 1pm.
Candidates are expected to work rotating Saturdays and Sundays.
The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their boarded and hospitalized pets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Cleaning cages. Feeding and caring for dogs and cats. Walking dogs. Bathing dogs. Doing laundry. Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises. Assisting Doctors and Technicians when necessary.
