Production Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Requirements:  

• A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Mechanical skills (Use of hand tools.)
• Ability to read & understand basic work instructions.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Work overtime as required.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
• Follow directions from the lead operator.
• Load and set up band-wire spools in the automated presses.
• Run SN presses and understand its operation.
• Perform checks and inspections to ensure the product is up to standards.
• Perform basic adjustments to the equipment to keep the lines moving (i.e. turn on the machine, clear jammed staples, reset sensors, etc.)
• Help lead operator in troubleshooting of equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized area.                                                                                                                               
• Reports accurate production numbers (report number of packs at the end of the shift.)
• Advises lead operator of any situation that interrupts or prevent production from achieving maximum efficiency.

 Starting Hourly Rate: $16.50/hour plus a $2.00 shift differential
