We are seeking a dependable and energetic Afterschool Program Assistant to support daily program activities and help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidate enjoys working with youth, is patient and organized, and works well with a team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist students during afterschool activities
- Help children with homework and educational assignments
- Assist with arts, crafts, games, and recreational activities
- Maintain a safe and structured environment
- Monitor student behavior and encourage positive interactions
- Prepare and organize program materials and supplies
- Ensure proper student sign-in and sign-out procedures
- Communicate professionally with staff and parents as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and remain patient in a fast-paced environment
- Must be dependable and punctual
Schedule:
Part-time, Monday–Friday, 2:15-6pm
Pay: $16
