Electrical Foreman

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Electrical Foreman to lead electrical projects and crews in the field. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day jobsite operations, coordinating employees and materials, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

The ideal candidate is an experienced electrician with strong leadership and communication skills who is comfortable taking ownership of a project from start to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on assigned projects

• Plan and coordinate daily electrical work and crew assignments

• Review blueprints, specifications, electrical drawings, and project requirements

• Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and manpower needed for each phase of the project

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems as needed

• Monitor project progress and keep work on schedule

• Communicate with project managers, general contractors, customers, inspectors, and other trades

• Ensure electrical installations meet applicable codes, plans, specifications, and company standards

• Conduct jobsite safety meetings and enforce company safety procedures

• Identify jobsite problems and develop practical solutions

• Track labor hours, materials, project changes, and job progress

• Maintain an organized, professional, and safe jobsite

• Train, mentor, and provide direction to electricians and apprentices

• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy

• Assist with planning upcoming work to prevent delays and downtime

• Take responsibility for the overall productivity and performance of the electrical crew

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman, Lead Electrician, or similar leadership position

• Strong electrical installation and troubleshooting experience

• Appropriate Wisconsin electrical credential/license for work being performed

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a crew

• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to plan ahead and keep projects moving efficiently

• Valid driver's license

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of electrical construction, including lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and working in various jobsite conditions
