Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination
- Operate floor buffers and other floor care equipment to maintain high-quality flooring standards
- Conduct custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects that may involve heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment or materials
- Support facilities maintenance activities like minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety practices for heavy lifting and safe lifting techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Familiarity with handling chemical agents used in cleaning products and equipment
- Experience operating floor buffers, carpet extractors, or other specialized cleaning machinery is preferred
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices
- Knowledge of industrial or facilities maintenance tasks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
