The Basics of a Branch Operations Supervisor:
- Status: Full-Time, Exempt Role
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, with rotating Saturdays 8:30 AM–1:30 PM at our Mopac Branch.
- Flexibility: Required for business needs, events, and occasional extended hours
What You’ll Do As A Branch Operations Supervisor:
In partnership with Branch Operations leadership, you will oversee daily branch operations and lead Branch Associates and Tellers to achieve branch goals.
Team Member Leadership:
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager to attract, hire, coach, and engage team members.
- Serve as a culture agent, reinforcing our mission, vision, and core values.
- Partner with team members to support career path development.
- Manage scheduling, time-off requests, performance coaching, and daily workflow.
- Stay actively engaged with the team to maintain a pulse on branch activities.
Branch Operations Leadership:
- Support Branch Manager in achieving branch goals.
- Be a subject matter expert in branch operations with emphasis on fraud and loss mitigation.
- Conduct periodic audits of safety deposit boxes and spot audits of transactions.
- Recommend process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Assist team members in resolving complex member issues.
- Coordinate volunteer events to expand Credit Union reach.
- Act as Branch Manager in their absence.
Other Duties:
- Comply with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering, and Member Due Diligence Procedures.
- Complete compliance and career development training as assigned.
- Act as a Notary Public and provide Medallion Signature Guarantee services when needed.
- Lead and delegate special projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
