The duties listed below may not include all the responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform.
- Proactively acquiring new customer relationships, leveraging centers of influence through outbound calling
- Uses profiling methods to uncover and understand the customer’s financial needs, to find solutions and refer customers to bank partners for specialized products
- Provides world-class customer service and creates a positive banking experience
- Works with customers to resolve customer service issues
- Performs various account maintenance
- Opens new consumer and business accounts
- Actively contributes to team’s success
- Assist closing of consumer loans
- Assists with teller transactions
- Balance teller drawer, verify accuracy of posted transactions
- Comply with all federal and state laws and regulations, and all established bank policies and procedures
- Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales and service experience
- Strong communications skills
- Experience using personal computers, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Must be able to work flexible hours as scheduled (Monday through Friday, and Saturday rotation)
- Banking experience is desired
- High level of customer sales and service experience is desired
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired
