Position Overview As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of our residents by creating meaningful experiences through arts, crafts, social activities, special events, and off-campus outings. Your creativity, compassion, and energy will help foster joy, connection, and engagement. Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week), Benefit-Eligible Schedule - Monday & Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM - Tuesday–Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm & 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM (every other week) - One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) per month: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities - Organize and assist with group and individual resident activities - Prepare and clean activity spaces - Engage residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities - Communicate changes in resident condition to the Community Life Coordinator - Assist in developing monthly activity calendars based on resident interests - Monitor attendance and transport residents to activities - Facilitate resident participation and conduct satisfaction audits - Coordinate special events with the Community Life Director Qualifications - High School Diploma required; training or degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a health-related field preferred - Genuine interest in working with older adults, short-term rehab residents, and individuals with physical or psychological challenges - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent organization, time management, and teamwork abilities Why Country Manor?
