Full-Time (1.0 FTE), 7-Hr day, 10- Month School Calendar Year
- Assist with instructing secondary students in the area of Building Construction
- Assist with monitoring student progress
- Assist with maintaining discipline in the classroom and work sites
- Carry out all other duties as assigned by the teacher and the Principal
Job Qualifications
Valid NYS Teaching Assistant Certification; must possess at least a Level 1 Teaching Assistant Certificate/ Initial Teaching Assistant Certificate; possession of the following certificates helpful Valid NYS Certification in Carpentry 7-12
- Extensive experience with Building Trades is required
- Experience in residential home buildings, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, roofing, and drywall
- Experience with computers preferred
