Full-time (1.0 FTE), 7-hour day, 10-month, school calendar position
- Provide students with rigorous and engaging classroom instruction, project-based learning, and hands-on skills that would prepare students to be college and career ready in the Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology industry
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment meeting OSHA and industry standards.
- Assess student learning through practical skills evaluations, written assessments, and workplace performance tasks.
- Model and teach essential employability skills including professionalism, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and work ethic.
- Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and administrators to support student success and program growth.
- Build and sustain industry partnerships to support internships, advisory committee meetings, and real-world learning opportunities.
- Monitor students' academic progress including, but not limited to progress/marking period grades, attendance, hands-on performance skills
- Implement 504 plans and IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) for students with diverse learning needs
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, home school counselors and all others involved with the education of all students
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and work sites

- Carry out all other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Valid NYS Certification in Automotive Collision Repair (CTE Certification – 7–12)
- Extensive experience with Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology is required
- Experience, willingness, and ability to work with secondary students in both classroom and various hands-on settings
- Excellent communication skills and work ethic
