Duties
- Greet visitors warmly and provide accurate information about local hiking trails, attractions, events and amenities
- Assist visitors with inquiries regarding accommodations, dining options, outdoor activities and transportation
- Open and close the visitor center according to standard operating procedures
- Handle cash transactions accurately for merchandise sales
- Resolve concerns or conflicts promptly with professionalism and empathy
- Promote upcoming events, tours, or activities to enhance visitor engagement
- Support community outreach efforts by representing the visitor center at local events
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service, guest services, hospitality or tourism roles
- Good to extensive knowledge of the Red Rock Trail district
- Strong communication and computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems
