Greater Seacoast Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Specialist to become part of the founding clinical team at our brand-new Wakefield Primary Care practice.

π§ What You'll Do
As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will:
Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments.
Provide evidence-based individual and group counseling.
Deliver crisis intervention and immediate behavioral health support.
Collaborate with primary care providers to develop integrated treatment plans.
Support patients experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.
Coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record.
Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
β Minimum Qualifications (Required to Be Considered)
Applicants must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:
β Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another behavioral health-related field.
β Current New Hampshire licensure as an LICSW, LCMHC, MLADC, or equivalent behavioral health license, OR be fully eligible to obtain New Hampshire licensure within ninety (90) days of hire.
β Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Applicants who are not licensed or cannot obtain New Hampshire licensure within 90 days of hire will not be considered.
β Preferred Qualifications
Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services.
Experience treating individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
Community Health or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) experience.
Integrated primary care experience.
Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency.
