Greater San Diego Academy is seeking a part time Education Specialist (ESN) for the 2026-27 school year. This position is for one day per week (20%). PRIMARY FUNCTION: Teacher: Resource Specialist/Compliance Under the direction of the Pupil Services Coordinator and the Director of Greater San Diego Academy, the Education Specialist (ESN) will work with individuals with exceptional needs, general education consultants, special education staff and parents in designing an instructional program, implementing services, and evaluating the effectiveness of instructional activities/strategies. The purpose of this position will be to provide instructional planning, specialized instruction, or other services to individuals with exceptional needs who receive specialized academic instruction and/or related services associated with the Greater San Diego Academy’s non-classroom based (home school), Personalized Learning Program in which parents are the primary instructor.
