Poultney Elementary School-Long-Term Sub Second Grade Teacher -PoES School is seeking an anticipated long-term substitute for 2nd grade,for the months of November through March, 2027 (tentative). Our school serves approximately 215 students, grades PreK-6.The successful candidate will possess the following attributes; Knowledge of elementary research-based best practices in literacy and mathematics Knowledge of MTSS and layered instructional practices including data collection Knowledge of proficiency-based grading practices Knowledge of the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards Knowledge of technology integration into the learning environment Knowledge of best practices regarding student management protocols Knowledge of formative and summative curricular assessments and use of data to informinstruction. Knowledge of best practices to support student social-emotional needs including regulation,restorative, and proactive approaches Evidence of strong connection with students and families Strong communication skills as evidenced through a quality application Licensed or eligible for Vermont Educators LicenseSalary Range: $47,444-$97,260(Prorated per number of work days)
