Position is for 32-40 hours per week.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate Program with a Maine State license to practice medicine and have a valid DEA number is required.
- At least two years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate strongly preferred.
- Board Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or American College of Nurse Practitioners upon graduation; or
- Board Certification by the American Academy of Physician Associates or American College of Physician Associates upon graduation.
- Be able to be credentialed at assigned hospitals and contractible on Greater Portland Health insurance plans.
- Must not be excluded from participation in federal health care programs.
