What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility - Prot 2nd shift position at Greater Omaha Packing Co.?
- Wash plastic combos once emptied from the dumpers.
- Dump plastic combos on the dumpers.
- Maintain good housekeeping by cleaning the floor from debris.
- Sanitize all surfaces and equipment.
- Push washed combos back to receiving docks and load empty trailer in the dock doors.
- Perform any miscellaneous tasks outlined by operations supervisor.
- we have 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts!
Skills and requirements:
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing – 10 lbs. -50 lbs. production
Neutral Wrist - Repetitive hand motions and grasping.
Reaching – Occasionally reaching above shoulders.
Bending – Occasionally bend or stoop for short periods of time.
Seating – Constant moving on concrete or platforms for 8 hours per day, 6 days a week
Medium Work - 26 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and 11 to 20 pounds of force constantly move objects and Physical Demand requirements.
Working Conditions:
The environment that individuals will be working in can fluctuate. Employees will be required to stand for anywhere between 8 hours, sometimes on a platform. They will frequently have to push, pull or lift to 30 pounds and occasionally push, pull, or lift to 50 pounds. The noise level is often loud, and hearing protection must
be always worn. Additional PPE that may be required are safety glasses, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and, in some cases, fall protection.

Report to work every Day at your scheduled start time.

Work to the best of your abilities and have the desire to learn and grow.
PPE: Hard hats, safety glasses, steel toe boots, and appropriate outerwear but be able to move around freely. Hearing protection and other PPE as directed. Will be issued to you in this position.
