We are seeking an energetic Recruiter to join our growing Human Resources team and help us attract top-tier clinical and administrative talent across New York and New Jersey.
Position SummaryThe Recruiter plays a key role in building a high-quality, mission-aligned workforce by identifying, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to support GNY’s services. This is a high-volume recruitment role focused on clinical positions (RN, LPN, CNA, HHA) with additional support for office and management hiring as needed.

As a frontline brand ambassador, you will represent GNY’s culture and values, engaging candidates with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.
Key ResponsibilitiesProactively source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, resume databases, and community partnerships.
Dedicate at least 60 minutes per day to sourcing activities, with a goal of generating 10% of total hires through direct sourcing.
Promote and track employee referrals with a target of 5% of hires via the referral program.
Manage candidates accurately within the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) - maintain complete records, timely updates, and professional documentation.
Respond to candidate inquiries within 24 hours and follow up with new applicants within 60 minutes during business hours (24 hours after-hours).
Attend at least one job fair per quarter and represent GNY at community and career events.
Collaborate with Recruitment manager on job postings and workforce planning.
Track all hires through onboarding and assignment to ensure accurate reporting for recruitment incentives.
Escalate pre-employment or background check delays to the Manager, Recruitment & Onboarding.
Maintain strong engagement with Workforce1, local community programs, and other talent pipelines.
Utilize approved social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to promote open roles and attract passive candidates.
Support the Onboarding & Compliance team during high-volume periods.
Participate in daily huddles and professional development activities (minimum one training/webinar per year).
Stay current on recruitment best practices and ATS functionality to operate as a system super-user.
Remain flexible to evolving business needs, system enhancements, and cross-location travel as required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience considered.
2 years of recruiting experience, ideally in healthcare, staffing, or high-volume environments.
Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, job boards, and ATS systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
