The Greater North Dakota Chamber (GNDC) is seeking a relationship-driven Member & Marketing Coordinator to deliver outreach, engagement, and marketing efforts within our membership. This role blends marketing and member relations — ensuring GNDC’s brand, message, and value are consistently delivered across platforms and relationships.
You’ll manage the member experience from prospecting and onboarding through retention and sponsorship, while also shaping how GNDC communicates that value through digital and print channels.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Membership Engagement & Experience
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective members and lead outreach efforts.
- Onboard new members to ensure they understand and utilize GNDC’s value and benefits.
- Serve as the contact for member questions, connections, and support.
- Conduct or coordinate prospect or member visits.
- Follow up on member conversations and requests and meetings.
- Maintain accurate member information in the CRM to ensure data integrity and benefit delivery.
- Manage annual renewals, track delinquent invoices, and support collections outreach.
- Promote sponsorship and advertising opportunities and coordinate follow-ups on commitments.
Marketing, Communications & Content
- Draft engaging digital content for GNDC’s website and other electronic channels.
- Design and publish graphics and visual assets using Canva and other tools.
- Coordinate content, advertising, and layout for GNDC’s quarterly business magazine.
- Collaborate with the communications team to maintain brand consistency and elevate GNDC’s statewide visibility.
- Support creation of marketing collateral, presentations, and event promotions.
Events & Outreach
- Assist with GNDC events, meetings, and member programs across North Dakota.
- Communicate upcoming events, policy updates, and GNDC resources to members.
- Contribute to webinars, roundtables, and other engagement opportunities.
- Meet established deadlines for timely completion of projects and assigned tasks

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree in communications, marketing, public relations, business, or a related field and at least two years of experience in marketing, public relations, or a similar position.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills for a variety of media and platforms.
- Ability and willingness to take on projects in unfamiliar areas and acclimate quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys working both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail; highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Finds supporting teammates and association members rewarding and enjoyable.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to adhere to deadlines and deliver results.
- Travel: 2–6 days/month within North Dakota.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, business, or a related field.
- Experience in membership development, business development, or account management.
- Familiarity with Canva or other graphic design tools.
- Experience managing CRM systems or databases.
