Job Description:
The Pool Service Technician is a seasonal employee responsible for traveling between assigned pool locations to perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep. This role includes cleaning pools, balancing water chemicals, servicing pump rooms and filtration systems, and maintaining the overall appearance and safety of pool facilities. Additional duties include straightening pool furniture, emptying trash cans, and cleaning bathrooms. The technician works independently, follows safety and chemical handling procedures, and ensures each location is clean, functional.
Employees MUST have a valid driver license and a reliable personal vehicle.
Facility Cleanliness and Pool Chemistry:
- Ensure facility cleanliness to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all guests.
- This includes: regular bathroom, pool deck and pool cleaning (vacuum/skim), as well as
- upkeep of furniture.
- Check pool chemistry to ensure water quality, and balance chemicals if necessary.
- Service the pump room and filtration systems.
- Record services rendered, pool chemistry, and adjustments made.
- Report complications, potential repairs, and issues to Supervisors.
Completing Routes:
- Service Technicians are given a route of pools to complete, following the weekly service
- schedule.
- Routes begin when the Technician clocks in at the first pool, and ends at the last pool.
- Mileage Reimbursement (40 cents/mile)

MANDATORY TRAININGS:
- Online Training through Digital Chalk (within 2 weeks of hire, or within 2 weeks of April 1)
- In-Person Pool and OSHA Training (Conducted by Direct Supervisor)
Pay: $17.50 per hour
