The Office Administrator is responsible for coordinating and/or performing administrative and clerical services required to directly support the daily operations of the practice. Behaves in a professional, customer-focused, service-oriented manner, displaying and promoting respect, care and dignity for all internal and external customers; facilitates a team-oriented attitude, striving continuously for service excellence.
- Under the direction of leadership, assist with day to day practice operations; support policies and procedures
- Completes various administrative tasks as designated by leadership
- Regularly assesses staffing requirements; interviews, hires and trains new employees as necessary
- Ensures staff are familiar with job requirements, expectations, and safe and proper use of facilities and equipment
- Display excellent follow-up skills
- Take an active role in regular departmental and office staff meetings
- Promotes superior customer service by all levels of staff; develops process improvements on a regular basis
- Regularly interfaces with staff, physicians, patients, and vendors
- Keeps abreast of industry best practices
- Performs other duties as assigned
