Be part of the GLTS Workforce Development Team! This is a part-time, intermittent position guiding Merrimack Valley adults through the enrollment process into GLTS adult technical trainings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Each winter, summer, and fall, GLTS delivers technical training to adults to prepare
them for entry-level positions in technical careers. Enrolling adults who are eligible
and ready for training is done before class start and is critical for program success.
We’re seeking an outgoing and detail-oriented individual to manage enrollment!
Primary responsibilities include:
- Connecting with candidates through phone, in person, via email, or from online interest form to sign them up for an Information Session on upcoming classes.
- Lead Information Sessions twice a week to inform candidates of what the class covers and eligibility requirements.
- Help interested candidates fill out enrollment, release, and CORI forms.
- Meet with candidates to verify eligibility for training. Collect eligibility documents.
- Schedule candidates for an interview with workforce development staff.
- Set up paper and online enrollment files for all candidates. Maintain confidentiality.
- Assisting with outreach to broadcast information about upcoming trainings to the community.
- Communicate directly with students as needed so enrollment and eligibility are completed as smoothly as possible.
- Other tasks as assigned
The Enrollment Specialist will work from 3 – 6 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and
Friday, and 3 – 7 pm on Tuesday and Thursday during the 3 months before the adult
training start date. It’s expected that the Enrollment Specialist will work November 2025 -
January 2026, April – June 2026, and August ’26- mid Oct. 26. Summer hours may be
different than those who worked during the school year. Possible extension through the
following years.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree preferred. Two years of professional experience in education, program management, sales, or a similar position.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
Driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
ABILITY, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of the construction trades preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google online office products. Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
