Greater Heights Tree & Land Management is seeking an experienced Arborist Climber to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a safety-focused professional with strong climbing, rigging, and tree care skills.
Responsibilities
· Perform tree removals (crane, bucket or conventional), pruning, and cabling operations
· Conduct tree risk assessments and identify potential hazards
· Safely climb and work at heights using proper techniques and equipment
· Operate and maintain equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and hand tools
· Follow all company safety policies and ANSI/industry standards
· Work efficiently as part of a crew on residential, commercial, and municipal job sites·
Qualifications:
· Minimum 4 years of arborist climbing experience
· Proven experience with tree removal, pruning, and cabling
· Strong knowledge of rigging and safe work practices
· Experience operating aerial lifts and tree care equipment
· Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
· ISA Certification (preferred but not required)
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to climb, lift, and perform physically demanding work
· Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
