Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled part-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including repairs, installations, and general upkeep of the property. Must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and seasonal grounds-keeping.
- Operate lawn, snow removal, and maintenance equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on the status of repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Experience in renovating vacant apartments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
