Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Greenville, MS for a Hotel Manager at Hotel 27, a historic boutique property operated by GGDF's Main Street program. The Hotel Manager will oversee all operational aspects of the hotel, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction while meeting performance and revenue goals. Responsibilities include managing staff, budgets, and daily hotel operations, as well as maintaining compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. The Hotel Manager will also work to promote the hotel and its mission of reinvesting proceeds into community development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience in hotel operations including front desk management, housekeeping operations, and customer service
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and revenue optimization
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including staff training and scheduling
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols
- Marketing and event planning experience for boutique or nonprofit hotel settings is a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with hotel management software and basic office applications
- Experience in nonprofit management or similar mission-driven environments is advantageous
- Relevant degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience preferred
