Greater Good / CharityUSA is currently hiring Seasonal Associates to work during our Holiday Season. The season starts mid-October through Christmas.
As a Seasonal Associate, you will provide key support in getting orders picked, packed, and shipped to our customers in an accurate and timely manner. This position requires attention to detail and flexibility throughout the workday.
Essential Functions include, but not limited to, the following:
· Pick customer orders in an accurate and timely manner
· Pack orders to ensure product arrives undamaged to our customers
· Recognize and communicate safety concerns or equipment issues to management.
The above duties describe the general nature and level of work being performed by personnel assigned to this function. All personnel may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities.
Associates will be trained in all areas and placed in job functions by management as determined by workflow/demand for that day or time.
Position Skills and Experience Requirements:
Successful candidates possess a can-do attitude, enjoy working with a team, and like to be active throughout the day. While previous fulfillment center experience is helpful but not required. Additionally, candidates must meet the following expectations:
· Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
· Must be detail oriented.
· Possess basic math skills.
· Communicates clearly and effectively.
· Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
· Must be able to consistently lift 5 – 40 lbs. throughout the day. This includes lifting, pulling, bending, squatting, and twisting.
· Able to stand/walk for 8 – 10 hours per day in a warehouse environment.
· Full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
· Able to maintain productivity with temperature fluctuations in the warehouse environment. Temperatures may range from 60 – 90 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the season.
· Basic computer skills; able to use Mac, PC and Tablets.
