• Engage children in educational play, teaching fundamental concepts aligned with early childhood education standards.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to safety regulations and health standards.
• Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of abuse or neglect promptly and appropriately.

Skills

• Proven experience working with children across different age groups, especially infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
• Strong background in childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies.
• Ability to plan engaging activities tailored to various developmental stages and individual needs.
• Knowledge of child supervision techniques to ensure safety during all activities.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork within the childcare setting.
