Greater Derry Extended Day is a non-profit, state licensed, before and after school program in Derry, NH. We are currently looking for an organized, energetic and creative individual to be an Assistant Program Director. This position includes helping lead an amazing team to create a safe, comfortable, constructive, and most of all FUN environment for school age children in our before and after school program.
Assistant Program Directors are responsible for:
· Overseeing Group Leaders and Assistant Group Leaders
· Communicating child behaviors and needs with parents
· Maintaining safety
· Shopping outside regular program hours
· Maintaining paperwork as required by NH Childcare licensing
· Organizing and running various activities
This position is 25-30 hours per week year round, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas Vacations and is salary based on experience. Benefits include optional direct deposit, paid vacation/discretionary days, HRA, Dental Insurance, bereavement leave, and paid maternity leave.
CPR/ First Aid training provided by the program.
Qualified candidates will have previous experience working with children, and have or be willing to attain some college credits in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
