Job Summary

Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Oversee property maintenance and facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with legal standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff to schedule repairs and inspections efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and Fair Housing regulations to maintain compliance.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Handle legal administrative tasks related to lease agreements, contracts, and conflict management with tenants or vendors.
- Conduct regular property inspections and oversee leasing activities to attract new tenants through upselling amenities and services.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents and tenant records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing resident inquiries promptly via phone or in person while maintaining professional office etiquette.
- Negotiate lease terms and contracts with prospective tenants while ensuring compliance with landlord-tenant law.
- Manage conflict resolution between tenants or staff to foster a positive community environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential properties.
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 housing programs.
- Experience working with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in sales, upselling amenities or services to prospective tenants.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective conflict management abilities.
- Office experience handling data entry, filing systems, contracts, and legal documentation accurately.
