What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intervention Specialist (Elementary K-2nd) position at Greater Cincinnati School Application Consortium?
We are seeking an Intervention Specialist for our Kindergarten-2nd grade elementary building in the 2026-27 school year. Qualified candidates will have an Intervention Specialist license, mild/moderate or moderate/intensive.
Intervention Specialists employed by WCS will receive the necessary training in understanding Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs), writing compliant IEPs, ideas on how to efficiently and effectively monitor progress, and how to utilize ProgressBook to create IEPs/Progress Monitoring. WHS is a Trauma Informed School that focuses on relationships and resiliency within our employees and students.
