Responsibilities
- Perform flooring installation, including wood floors and tiles, ensuring precision and quality.
- Lay tiles according to specifications, including cutting and fitting as necessary.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine project costs and materials needed.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
- Execute carpentry tasks, including trim carpentry and cabinet installation.
- Engage in water damage restoration projects, ensuring proper techniques are applied.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the project.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service while working on-site.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in flooring installation and tile laying.
- Background in construction with site experience.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking, buffing, concrete finishing, and construction painting.
- Knowledge of restoration practices within the restoration industry is preferred.
