We Are Looking to Add a Key Member to Our Credit Team! The Exposure Management Credit Analyst will be responsible for facilitating credit approval on end users where exposure levels are above the teams’ levels or limits set by the Business Units and Credit Vice Presidents. They will monitor exposure levels and establish credit limits for end users that have recurrent business with GreatAmerica. The Exposure Management Credit Analyst will utilize all appropriate information to make an educated credit decision, balancing risk against policy, while reinforcing positive relationships with GreatAmerica customers. As a Credit Analyst - Exposure Management you will: Perform duties and responsibilities as set out in their corresponding level of credit and policy authority Identify recurring end users to proactively establish credit limits to streamline approval processes, either through lines of credit and/or High Exposure Reviews Review recommendations made by business unit team credit analysts and make determination to grant credit approval Track performance of high exposure end users and update records and/or documentation as warranted Make informed decisions by analysis of financial statements, tax returns, industry data and equipment/collateral data As needed, work with Large Transaction Analysts to make educated and appropriate credit decisions on transactions and/or exposures above levels as set by the Business Unites and Credit Vice Presidents Assist with portfolio purchase credit review or other ad hoc credit processes as needed Maintain high-level knowledge of customer programs within all business units Mentor and coach less experienced credit personnel Monitor outside market conditions and trends in relationship to GreatAmerica’s credit approach and portfolio To be successful in this role you will need: Education Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field Experience Credit experience with GreatAmerica or a similar position with another lender Skills and Abilities Computer Skills Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint Other Requirements: Must possess excellent analytical ability, capability to process information quickly to reach appropriate decisions, desire to learn, and good interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers at all levels Sharing rewards is an integral part of our culture.
