Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure longevity and efficiency.
- Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues that arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC lathe machinist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
- Expierence operating overhead crane
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
