Key Responsibilities
- Pull and position lumber on chain conveyors for processing and sorting
- Stack, sort, and organize lumber according to size, grade, and type
- Packaging
- Band, strap, or wrap finished lumber bundles securely for transport
- Inspect bundles to ensure proper packaging and quality standards
- General Labor Duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with equipment setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a lumber mill, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor or mill environment
